Not able to sustain the heat on it's favorite people and party - the communists, NDTV got back on offensive today. It was probably just waiting to let the wind blow over the Nandigram/Taslima issue so that it can get back to Modi bashing AGAIN.
Making a sweeping headline on NDTV.com website today , NDTV went all out again without any back up to prove it's claim -
NDTV boldly proclaimed - Gujarat: Muslim families denied voting rights
As usual NDTV uses a provocative headline. But you got to look beyond the Headline. If you dig a little deeper you realize what the true story is. These so called Muslim victims are actually nomadic tribes who move from village to village. These 19 families (yes all 19 of them who were going to change the fortune of Gujarat elections apparently !!) were "denied" voting registration by the authorities since they DO NOT LIVE THERE. It's as simple as that. But look at the insinuation and sarcasm at the beginning of the article - "Chief Minister Narendra Modi may have offered Taslima Nasreen shelter but many Muslim families living in Gujarat feel anything but welcome."
*Many* muslim familes? Since when has 19 families become MANY in a country of one billion people?
It's a win-win for NDTV. If Modi wins, they will claim that "Muslims were not allowed to vote". If he looses, NDTV will claim an all secular victory and claim Hindus finally voted out the fanatic Modi.

We the Farce !!!
Barkha Dutt is a big celebrity in news journalism today. A Jamai-Milia-Islamia and a NYC student she makes no calms about her anti-Hindu-Fundamentalists leanings.
Thats fair. Everyone is entitled to her opinion. And she has the right to hers. But it becomes hard to digest when she uses her "We the People" program on NDTV to blatantly spin in favour of her favourite Left and put a negative spin on everything related to the "ugly" Hindus of the nation.
I vividly remember a few years back she was back to Gujarat-Modi bashing (one of her favourite skills) about a stray incident in Baroda.
Again Baroda was tense when a Hindu boy was killed by a Muslim mob under the pretext of protesting against the removal of a road side dargah. Off she went on a Modi bashing spree without realising that actually a Hindu boy was killed by a mob.
But once it was clear that Muslims had started the problem she brought in her usual spin by asking the viewers "Is anyone safe in Gujarat?". This time she could not proclaim that the oh-so-innocent Muslim was a victim.
Reader Sandeep Kumar sent another observation today.
In another episode of "We the People" about Kolkata's Rezwan-Priyanka case she called on the program 3 Hindu women who had married Muslims. She could not find a single Muslim married to Hindu. May be she was afraid of a back lash from the peace loving Muslims, as Sandeep rightly doubts.
Or was it plain old simple "Barkha-spin". Who can tell?

Time has come...
Folks,
Please pass this on. Time has come to expose the Indian media in general and NDTV in particular.
NDTV is on a mission and we should call it's bluff.
I am not a good writer or an articulate journalist. I am a common person who gets agitated looking at the complete dominance of the LEFT in Indian media. The LEFT has suffocated for too long the "other" view point and has successfully indoctrinated millions of young,naive,gullible indian viewers with it's ideology.
This is dangerous. NDTV is Left's most potent weapon, besides The Hindu and Outlook.
In India we don't have a FOX to counter balance any indoctrination. But we as individuals can come together and make a difference.
Even as i type this, NDTV is conveniently blacking put Nandigram and continues to focus on Modi and Gujarat. It's "truth by repeated assertion" logic has worked wonders so far.
It's time to shift the focus lights on NDTV itself.
Embarrass NDTV and call it's bluff to the point that it realizes that the RIGHT is not all that easy to take on.
Pranoy Roy created a brand and has a lot of goodwill amongst the Indian middle class. Quite ironically the Indian middle class forms the base of both BJP and NDTV's vast viewer ship.
It's important to make a dent into NDTV's viewership and hit it under the belt. We need to repel advertisers away from NDTV. The BJP consumer should move away from NDTV. This will certainly hit NDTV - the unofficial spokesman for Budhhadeb and Karat.
Prannoy Roy should be made aware that he cannot take his good will for granted anymore.
We may not have a Rupert Murdoch , who can bring a FOX to India. But we can form a chain. A chain of common people, bloggers, comment writers, casual readers who can all come on a single forum and make it difficult for NDTV.
We may not earn millions and have a glamorous profile like Sardesai and Barkha Dutt, yet we faceless individuals can make a difference. We can make people aware of NDTV's real face.
A face far dangerous than ISI or China. After all India lost out to others because we had a JaiChand in every era. NDTV is today's JaiChand and we need to defeat it before it becomes our nemesis.
These are the things that can be done
1] NDTV usually tries to keep a facade of objectivity. But if you take a closer look it's a complete set up. If you find something fishy or interesting in the news item that clearly "spins" in favour of left and clearly spins a negative web against Modi,BJP,Raje etc, shoot a mail across to expose.ndtv@gmail.com.
2] You can write a brief description with a link of how did you find the article/video biased.
3] NDTV usually is smart in hiding its agenda. Try to formulate in your description what was the real agenda behind a news item and send it to expose.ndtv@gmail.com
4] I want this forum to be open. But i cannot take a chance since the secular vultures will bombard it. So if you send an entry to expose.ndtv@gmail.com i will scan through it and keep posting it on this blog.
5] We need to ensure that whatever entries are made on the blog are backed by evidence.
6] Please help me build this forum and nail NDTV once and for all.
7] I am sure NDTV will atleast take notice and realize that it is under scrutiny.
